About

I am a middle-aged guy who believes that government not only can’t solve problems, it only can create them and the bigger the government, the bigger the problems it creates.  Politically, I’m an originalist and a Federalist.  Spiritually, I am a Christian, however because I firmly believe that politics should not try to govern religion, other than a stray comment here and there, I attempt to keep my religions beliefs (other than my view of morality) out of the picture.

I am fiscally conservative and socially moderate (relatively liberal on some issues and relatively conservative on others – which ones?  Read my blog entries to find out!)

I love a good argument but I hate judgmentalism (I know that’s not a word but you know what I mean) and name calling.  If you have no facts to back up your position, I’m fine with you calling me a “dumb-ass”.  I just want you to document your findings that led you to that conclusion.

As my reader, you may quote or refer to anything I write as long as you give proper attribution and a hypertext link to the article to which you refer.  I would like your readers to have the full context of my writing available.
